Job Description

You'll join theConsumer & Community Banking - Data & Analytics team, a strategic partner to theConsumer & Community Bankingorganization using data and analytics to accelerate growth, improve campaign performance, and deliver actionable insights. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to enable informed, data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across theData & Analytics team.

As aQuantitative Analytics Managerwithin theConsumer & Community Banking -Data & Analytics organization, you will leverage your analytical expertise to guide strategic decisions, ongoing reporting, and deep-dive analyses that address emerging business challenges. You will drive the campaign management lifecycle, including targeting, sizing, business case development, modeling, list execution, reporting, ad-hoc deep dives, test design and analysis, financial assessments, forecasting, and portfolio performance analysis. This role partners directly with business stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and track strategic lead and outreach initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights and optimize business outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and technical expertise in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, clustering, machine learning, statistical forecasting, optimization, and simulation techniques.
  • Manage and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to develop actionable business strategies and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, assess data quality, recognize statistical anomalies, and connect data findings to business processes.
  • Own program management, process development, and key stakeholder communications with limited oversight.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance analytics culture.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for data-driven decision-making and opportunity identification.
  • Partner with stakeholders to solve business problems, optimize performance, and shift business and product strategy.
  • Align with data owners to reassure landing of effective data products.
  • Contribute to a friendly, inclusive, and appreciative team culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives and drive adoption of recommendations.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Operational Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, or related discipline), or Bachelor's degree with 10 + years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills ability to explain complex mathematical concepts and influence business partners.
  • Exposure to forecasting, planning, and business strategy functions.
  • Hands-on experience with data mining, analytical methods, and business strategy implementation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis languages (Python, SAS, R, etc.) and Big Data technologies (Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Advanced analytics, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics, inferential statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quasi-experimentation.
  • Consulting orientation and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort leveraging AI tools to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks and accelerate delivery.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues and building durable team practices and playbooks.
  • Experience in data-driven storytelling to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience supporting Service Center business and/or analytics use cases.
