Job Description:
Support BonV Aero's Quality team to ensure motors, ESCs, batteries, propellers, airframes, and electronics meet safety and performance standards. You'll run incoming/in-process inspections, document results, and help close out non-conformances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming and in-process inspections using SOPs/checklists (visual, dimensional, basic electrical).
- Record measurements in templates (Excel/Sheets), attach photos, and tag material Accept/Reject/Hold.
- Assist with functional checks (continuity, no-load current, telemetry sanity) under supervision.
- Raise NCRs, quarantine suspect parts, support root-cause (5-Why) and CAPA tracking.
- Maintain SOPs, work instructions, calibration logs, and lot traceability.
- Prepare simple quality dashboards (yield/defect trends) for weekly reviews.
- Follow EHS/ESD & battery safety procedures at all times.
Requirements & Key Competencies:
- Pursuing B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and pin gauges, with the ability to read basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (filters, basic formulas, charts) with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and comfort working on the shop floor.
- Basic understanding of BLDC motors, ESCs, Li-ion/LiPo batteries, and propeller systems (preferred).
- Exposure to SPC, GR&R, NCR/CAPA processes, or ISO 9001/AS9100 standards (added advantage).
- Awareness of soldering/IPC-A-610 workmanship standards is beneficial.
- Performance will be evaluated through on-time inspections, data completeness and accuracy, NCR closure timelines, and adherence to SOP/EHS guidelines.
