About the Company

Our client is a top European OEM in the Aerospace sector.

About the Role

The main mission of the quality control specialist position consists of ensuring that all material received through repair, spares, and/or overhaul meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Quality control might be performed on:
  • material received from suppliers
  • material delivered to customers by checking the compliance of the parts and the completeness of all accompanying documents
  • material returned by customer that require specific investigation
  • material in and out of stock
  • Contributes to improving the reactivity of the overall spares/repair processes.
  • Take into account customer feedback to achieve the required customer satisfaction.
  • Perform FAI inspections on some sampling parts delivered by IOP's during the industrialization or serial production phases.
  • Participate in the surveillance and qualification renewal for IOP's.
  • Review, and/or issue and release the delivery documents following aerospace quality requirements; compliance of conformance, IRN (Inspection Release Note).
  • Ensure all delivered products conform to specified requirements.
  • Identify and record non-compliance to specified requirements and take all actions necessary to contain affected products.
  • Report any issues or defects found during inspection, coordinate with suppliers representatives to investigate any quality defects or documents issue.
  • Use various tools and equipment to perform measurements and inspections.
  • Use various numerical tools: SAP for repairs and spare parts, database for datapacks.
  • Responsible for the proper maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines to maintain consistent product quality.
  • Participate in supplier audits to assess the effectiveness of quality management systems.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Languages known: English and knowledge of French is desirable

Required Skills

  • Functional Testing Electronics, Electrical and RF units.
  • Experience in conducting Vibration and Environmental / Thermal Testing.
  • Performing FAI as per EN/AS9102.
  • Project execution, Manpower handling, Liasoning with Customers and Vendors.
  • Sound Knowledge of ERP System SAP & Others.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in quality control processes.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems.
