Job Responsibilities
- Drive investigation and resolution of product quality issues in collaboration with Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Supplier Quality teams.
- Monitor QC test yields and process performance, identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing processes and QC test procedures.
- Participate in customer complaint reviews and failure analysis of returned instruments to identify product quality issues and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor product and process quality trends and implement improvement initiatives to achieve quality KPI targets.
- Manage QC laboratory activities to support production requirements and maintain a validated laboratory environment.
- Support laboratory equipment troubleshooting and identify opportunities to improve laboratory practices and efficiency.
- Participate in and review Process Validation activities to ensure adequate Quality Control requirements.
- Support QC instrument testing, reagent management and procedural updates to meet operational and delivery requirements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports, conduct trend analysis and present findings during Management Review meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing Quality Control experience, preferably within a regulated environment.
- Experience with QC laboratory processes and operations.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or MDSAP requirements
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and handling/disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt certification will be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
