Deutsche Post is committed to continuously enhancing the quality and efficiency of its operational processes within the Post & Parcel (P&P) division. A key focus area in this ongoing optimization is the continuous development of our employees and the establishment of superior quality standards to ensure exceptional operational performance. A Trainer & Quality Management Specialist directly supports the Site Head and is responsible for developing into a comprehensive, cross-process P&P expert. By dynamically transitioning from process to process, the specialist reviews and designs targeted quality measures and training programs with technical support from the respective departments. The more training sessions you conceptualize, the deeper your operational knowledge becomes. This strategic role serves as a crucial link within our operations and requires a willingness to travel to Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support site head in safeguarding quality KPI for various shared services processes.
  • Conduct operational quality checks, analyze agreed KPIs, and generate QM reports to identify and implement concrete improvement measures.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) and assist with QM projects, measurement methods, and internal audits (e.g., DIN-ISO 9001-2015).
  • Develop and execute targeted training programs in close cooperation with process owners in Germany
  • Perform trainings in cooperation with process owners
  • Act as a quality advisor and sparring partner for team leads and team members to resolve process challenges.
  • Rotate through various Post & Parcel (P&P) workflows to build deep, cross-functional operational expertise.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum: Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 7+ years of overall professional experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a corporate service provider, corporate customer service, or Quality Management environment; specifically mastering the balance between quality, quantity, and productivity..
  • Mandatory, hands-on experience working with continuous improvement processes.
  • Ideally, you bring a solid understanding of the logistics industry and its processes (nice-to-have).
  • Prior experience within GCCs of the Logistics sector would be a strong advantage.

Quality-Specific Certifications (preferred)

  • Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt process quality management
  • COPC Certification
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or QMS
  • Lean Management Certification

Training & Learning Certifications (preferred)

  • CTDP Certified Training & Development Professional
  • TT Train the Trainer
  • ISTD Diploma Indian Society for Training & Development
  • High level of analytical thinking and numerical comprehension, combined with excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong didactic understanding and proven training skills with a commanding professional presence.
  • High agility, a structured work style, and the ability to quickly learn and navigate through different operational processes.
  • English: High proficiency written and spoken
  • German: Business fluency at B2 level or above (certified) written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel to Germany is required.

Working Conditions
