Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Manager for our Transmission & Distribution team with at least 12 years of total experience in an engineering or consulting organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven and collaborative professional responsible for managing and implementing our corporate quality program. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality through audits, training, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Program Management: Manage the implementation of the company's Corporate Quality Program, including its policies, standards, and best practices. You will develop a strategic quality plan aligned with leadership goals and be responsible for tracking and record-keeping the outcomes of all quality audits.
  • Auditing and Assurance: Support and serve as an auditor for various audit programs. You will regularly conduct internal process audits and publish findings with actionable feedback. You'll also manage and monitor the Q3 (Self-Check) and Q4 (independent check) processes to ensure consistent implementation on all projects.
  • Training and Development: Manage quality-related training by conducting awareness sessions and refresher courses for all employees. You will train staff on recent changes to quality processes and encourage teams to build organizational knowledge through tools like the Knowledge Capture Tool (KCT).
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and manage continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with business line and office managers. You will conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for deliverables with low-quality scores and suggest corrective actions related to training or technical changes.
  • Reporting and Coordination: Report on the organization's performance against quality program requirements to leadership. You will also coordinate with the Corporate Quality department and the T&D Quality Assurance Director to align quality management systems across offices.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 12 years of total experience in an engineering or consulting organization.
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any Engineering discipline.
  • Certifications: Certifications or diplomas from reputable institutes relevant to quality management are a significant advantage.
  • Skills:
  • Management: Strong management, organizational, and data management skills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for providing feedback and conducting training.
  • Collaboration: You must have a collaborative work style and robust people skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Problem-Solving: A self-driven, enthusiastic individual with a focus on problem-solving and process enhancement.
