Job Title: Quality Manager – Aluminium Formwork Manufacturing

Reporting To: Plant Head

Experience Required: 7+ years in manufacturing quality, with minimum 3 years in Aluminum Formwork industry

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or related discipline)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance in our Aluminium Formwork manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in metal fabrication, precision engineering, and aluminium formwork systems, ensuring that all products meet internal and customer specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Control:

Develop, implement, and manage quality control systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) specific to Aluminium Formwork.

Monitor and improve internal manufacturing quality processes, including welding, extrusion, cutting, and assembly of formwork panels.

Conduct root cause analysis and initiate Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) for quality issues.

Ensure incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods meet quality specifications.

Inspection & Testing: Lead the team for in-process inspections, final inspections, and first article inspections (FAI).

Set up and maintain testing protocols for dimensional accuracy, material strength, and surface finishing.

Utilize tools such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Height gauges, and CMM where necessary.

Team Management & Training: Manage and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors and Engineers.

Conduct regular quality training sessions for production staff to instill quality culture on the shop floor.

Coordinate and lead internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards applicable to formwork systems.

Customer Interaction & Support: Handle customer complaints, site feedback, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

Support site teams and clients with quality documentation and technical details related to formwork systems.
