Job Description
- Lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across product development and production.
- Oversee the full endtoend quality process, identifying issues early and ensuring robust quality at each stage.
- Conduct technical assessments of samples, provide corrective feedback, and ensure execution of production inspections.
- Analyze vendor performance, lead improvement plans, and support factory selection and onboarding.
- Manage and mentor a team of Quality Technicians, setting priorities and development goals.
- Travel regularly to factories for audits, reviews, and preproduction meetings.
- Train vendors and internal partners on quality standards and ensure consistency across all suppliers.
- Partner with thirdparty inspection agencies, the Compliance team, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance standards.
The Successful Applicant
- Experience: 15+ years of technical experience in quality roles with progressive responsibility.
- Industry: Strong expertise in Home Textiles; experience in Rugs is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabrications (yarn quality, content, weaving, knitting, terry, tufting), industry testing standards, AQL systems, and working with agencies like BV and SGS.
- Regional Exposure: Experience working with vendors in the Delhi NCR region (Panipat preferred).
- Retail Background: Experience working with US-based retailers.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong English communication, advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills, ability to review templates and analytical logic.
