Job Description

Centre for Teaching Excellence

The Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE) is a small team working within Asian Christian High School to enhance the quality of education offered. Our work is multitudinal and multidirectional. We support teachers in their learning journeys and we work with middle grade students on a curriculum we have designed for them. The CTE mediates a lot of dialogue between teachers, students and school management. Our current focus is on strengthening school-wide literacy and redesigning the K-3 curriculum. Due to the nature of our work, our team needs to be very proactive and self-driven. We invite you to work as a fellow with the CTE team.

Context

Asian Christian High School is located in Jeemangalam, Hosur - roughly an hour outside of Bangalore. It is affiliated to CBSE. We have over 3400 students and 160 teaching staff. The school is a part of a larger campus and society that houses many other units such as a seminary, a centre for autism, a culinary institute, a hospital etc. Being a part of an integrated campus allows ACHS to add to the educational experience it provides.
