Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management & Compliance:
- Ensure absolute adherence to Quality Manual and food safety systems.
- Monitor quality accuracy for Incoming, In-Process, and Finished Products.
- Successfully manage and conduct audit documentation for FSSC, AIB, and ISO 22000.
- Implement and monitor ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP systems with corrective and preventive action plans.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other regulatory standards.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage audits and inspections.
Food Safety & Hygiene:
- Ensure online hygiene inspection and plant hygiene/legal monitoring as per SOP.
- Apply HACCP tools for improvements in GMP, GHP, FIFO systems, and plant hygiene.
- Develop and implement food safety culture across the factory.
- Conduct prerequisite planning to prevent cross-contamination during production.
- Ensure pest control activities are implemented effectively.
Quality Control & Monitoring:
- Ensure quality compliance of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and process materials through structured checklists.
- Conduct daily sensory evaluation before product dispatch.
- Monitor oil, potato, laminate, box, and raw material efficiency.
- Maintain reference standards and retention samples.
- Ensure calibration and validation of measuring equipment as per defined frequency.
- Monitor online quality parameters such as packaging EGA, leakage, TPOD of Potato Chips, moisture content, fat content, and seasoning coverage.
Customer & Process Improvement:
- Handle customer complaints and conduct root cause analysis with corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify process improvement areas and implement corrective measures.
- Apply statistical process control and quality tools for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
- Conduct training programs on food safety, SOPs, GMP, and general awareness.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
- Maintain proper documentation of quality processes, audits, inspections, and compliance records.
