Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced India Quality Lead to lead the end-to-end quality and food safety agenda across our manufacturing operations in India. The role will be responsible for building strong quality systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving food safety standards, and embedding a culture of quality excellence across the organization.

Role Name: Head - Quality

Reporting to: India CEO

Location: Anekal Factory, Bangalore (iDs largest factory)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and implement the overall Quality and Food Safety strategy across manufacturing units.
2. Ensure compliance with FSSAI and global food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, GMP, and GHP.
3. Oversee quality assurance and quality control across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
4. Drive supplier quality management, vendor audits, and quality improvement initiatives. • Lead internal and external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
5. Partner with Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent product quality.
6. Establish systems for consumer complaint management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
7. Build and lead a strong quality team across plants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Microbiology / Dairy Technology / Chemical Engineering.
• Certifications in HACCP / ISO 22000 / FSSC preferred.
• Experience: 15-20 years of experience in Quality roles within Food Manufacturing / FMCG.
• Proven experience in leading quality functions across manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
