Role OverviewWe are looking for a Quality Executive to strengthen our inspection and quality assurance processes across machining and surface treatment operations. The role involves hands-on inspection, documentation, and ensuring compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform in-process and final inspection of machined components
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerances
- Use and handle precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.)
- Support CMM inspection and report analysis
- Maintain inspection reports, control plans, and quality documentation
- Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF / IRIS quality standards
- Coordinate with production for quality improvements and rejection reduction
Requirements- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 14 years of experience in manufacturing / machining quality
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with CMM reports and inspection processes
- Knowledge of quality tools (7 QC tools, CAPA, 5 Why, etc.)
- Attention to detail and structured working approach
Preferred Skills- Experience in rail / defense / automotive components
- Exposure to surface treatments (anodizing, phosphating, plating)
- Familiarity with ERP-based quality documentation
