The role combines technical leadership, people management, and quality governance, ensuring scalable, reliable, and efficient automation aligned with business goals.Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive automation strategy, roadmap, and best practices.
- Lead automation framework design, scalability, and evolution.
- Manage and mentor a team of automation engineers.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through governance, metrics, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Release teams.
- Oversee CI/CD integration and continuous testing practices.
- Drive shift-left testing and improve automation coverage.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and quality gaps early.
- Ensure effective stakeholder communication and escalation management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and automation maturity.Requirements
- Strong leadership experience in QA/Automation roles.
- Expertise in building and managing automation frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of UI automation tools (Playwright, Cypress).
- Deep understanding of API automation and service testing.
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, and end-to-end testing practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and quality engineering processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in test strategy, governance, and reporting.
