Job Description Card Tester - Functional Testing

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 35 Years

Role Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Card Tester - Functional Tester to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cards domain testing, including functional validation of card transactions, payment flows, and card management systems. Exposure to automation tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing for card systems, including debit/credit card transactions, authorization flows, account linking, and card lifecycle processes.
• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
• Design and execute comprehensive test cases for card domain functionalities.
• Perform endtoend testing across card platforms, payment gateways, and integrations.
• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with development teams for timely resolution.
• Participate in regression testing cycles and support UAT activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for card systems.

Required Skills

• 35 years of hands-on experience in Card Domain Testing (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of:
• Card lifecycle management (issuance activation transactions closure)
• EMV, magnetic stripe, tokenization (good to have)
• Payment networks, preferred
• Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Good-to-Have Skills (Preferable)

Experience or working knowledge of automation tools such as:

• Selenium
• Python
• BrowserStack
• API Testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) optional but beneficial
