Quality Engineering Specialist

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in Cucumber Automation with Java
• Solid knowledge of Manual Testing (ISTQB standards)
• Hands-on experience in:
• API Testing
• Database Testing (SQL)
• Working experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)
• Good understanding of test lifecycle, test design techniques, and defect management

Experience: 3-12 years

Location - PAN INDIA

Nice to have Technical Skills:

Experience with Robot Framework (Python)

• Familiarity with qTest (test management tool)
• Working knowledge of JIRA for defect and backlog tracking

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Cucumber with Java
• Write and execute BDD-based test scenarios aligned with functional requirements
• Perform manual testing following ISTQB standards and best practices
• Validate APIs using tools like Postman/RestAssured and ensure functional correctness
• Conduct database testing including data validation, query execution, and backend verification
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Scrum teams in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage
• Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
• Ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and timely delivery of releases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
• ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory)
