Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors testing progress, manages defect resolution, and collaborates with multiple stakeholders to maintain seamless quality processes. The position demands a proactive approach to fostering team collaboration and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate communication between quality engineering and other departments to ensure alignment on project goals and quality standards.
• Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing, Test Management.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
• Ability to analyze test results and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Familiarity with various testing tools and technologies relevant to automated testing environments.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex testing issues to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Automated Testing.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
