Job Description

Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead

Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will guide a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality outcomes throughout the application lifecycle. Your day involves overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. You will monitor and evaluate testing processes by defining key performance indicators, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality standards of the applications. Collaboration and leadership are central to your role as you drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of quality within the team and across related functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
  • Responsible for team decisions.
  • Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and promote professional growth.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies related to quality and delivery timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing testing outcomes and incorporating feedback into future planning.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Business Management.
  • Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies within complex software environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing tools, and defect management processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret testing metrics to drive informed decision-making and process improvements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle and integration of quality processes throughout the lifecycle.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Business Management.
  • This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
