Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and applying testing methodologies and processes, monitoring key performance indicators related to test execution and defect management, and ensuring seamless collaboration among multiple teams to uphold quality objectives.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of testing strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive quality assurance efforts.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• Strong knowledge of data validation techniques and experience in designing test cases for complex data transformations.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks relevant to data warehouse environments.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and ETL process failures effectively.
• Familiarity with database technologies and query languages to support comprehensive testing activities.
• Skilled in performance testing and optimization of ETL workflows to ensure efficient data processing.
