Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The lead actively monitors testing processes by defining and applying key performance metrics, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products. Collaboration across teams and continuous process improvement are central to daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with business goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing, API Testing.
• Strong knowledge of data validation techniques and ETL processes within data warehousing environments.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for complex data workflows.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report testing progress.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system integration issues effectively.
• Understanding of database concepts, SQL queries, and data modeling to support testing activities.
