We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer with extensive experience in the construction industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet quality standards and comply with regulations, through rigorous inspections and the implementation of effective quality control processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for construction processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and quality assurance plans.
- Train and mentor construction staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Proficient in using quality control tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
