Role Description

QA Engineer (Manual + Automation Testing)

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in software testing and strong automation skills using Playwright. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and business stakeholders, and contributing to the continuous improvement of the QA process.

●      Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.

●      Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data.

●      Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright.

●      Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

●      Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

●      Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.

●      Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to ensure quality deliverables.

●      Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint review meetings.

●      Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements.

●      Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.

●      Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.

●      Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

●      Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

●      Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, and System Testing.

●      Perform exploratory, functional, Functional, regression, smoke testing, Integration, and System Testing.

●      Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

●      Experience in defect tracking and test management tools.

●      Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.

●      Strong experience in JavaScript or TypeScript.

●      Experience in developing reusable automation components and page object models.

●      Knowledge of API testing and automation.

●      Experience in cross-browser testing using Playwright.

●      Ability to maintain and optimize automation suites.

●      Experience with test reporting frameworks such as Allure or Playwright Reports.

●      Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.

●      Experience with Git version control.

●      Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

●      Experience working in product-based or fintech applications.

●      Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.

●      Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an advantage.

●      Familiarity with REST APIs and tools such as Postman.

●      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

●      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
