About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to ensure top-tier quality for our TV products, streaming platforms (OTT, Set-Top Boxes, Smart TVs), and AIoT ecosystem. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing, post-launch quality monitoring, customer feedback analysis, and driving continuous improvements in product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance & Testing
- Design and execute test plans for TV platforms such as Android TV, Fire TV, and Roku.
- Validate AIoT and ecosystem integrations, including multi-device compatibility and smart home features.
- Use test automation tools and manage test cases on JIRA and TestRail.
2. Post-Launch Quality Monitoring
- Lead EWP (Early Warning Process) and non-EWP investigations for field issues.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive Corrective Actions (CA) with relevant teams.
- Track customer reviews and return data from e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart) and escalate critical issues.
- Maintain dashboards and reports summarizing quality metrics for all product portfolios.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with R&D, QA, and Supply Chain teams to enhance product reliability through benchmarking and continuous improvement.
- Conduct factory audits, production line checks, and market visits to validate product performance in real conditions.
- Engage with user/fan clubs to collect direct feedback and generate product insights.
4. Operational Readiness
- Travel to factories, markets, customer locations, and call centers as required.
- Adapt to shifting business priorities and support new product lines when needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, and test automation tools.
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of PCBA (Mainboard) and LCM (panel).
- Experience in AIoT/ecosystem device validation.
- Strong exposure to field failure analysis (EWP/non-EWP) and customer feedback systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
