Stefanini is looking for a Quality Engineer in Noida, India (Remote)

Role Overview

• We are looking for a contract Quality Engineer to join our Engineering team at our company
• The engineer will work across manual and automated testing on our SaaS platform, helping ensure high quality across web, mobile and API layers.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Design and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Document and track defects using Jira work with developers to reproduce and verify fixes.
• Validate UI flows, edge cases, and acceptance criteria against product requirements.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to test planning for new features.

API Automation

• Build and maintain API test suites using Selenium-REST, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Validate REST API responses, status codes, headers, and payloads against specifications.
• Integrate API test suites into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression on each build.
• Report and triage failures work with teams to resolve root causes.

UI & Automated Testing

• Develop and maintain automated UI tests using open-source frameworks - Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
• Write clean, maintainable test scripts in Java or typescript following established team standards.
• Identify and address flaky tests maintain stable test suites across browser and device configurations.
• Extend existing automation coverage for new features and regression scenarios.

Agentic QA

• Experience using AI tools to generate, review, or improve test cases from requirements. Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to write and accelerate automation scripts.
• Exposure to agentic QA concepts - where AI agents autonomously handle test generation, classification, or execution steps.
• Ability to use AI tools to analyze test results, identify recurring failure patterns and coverage gaps, and draw actionable conclusions on quality risks.

• Experience: 3-5 years in software quality engineering and test automation
• Base Location: Noida (Full Remote Role)
• Contract Duration: 6 Months
