Major Roles & Responsibilities (Mandatory):
- Ensure quality of incoming materials through inspection and compliance checks.
- Handle customer complaints and close issues using effective corrective actions.
- Monitor, audit, and improve supplier quality performance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Maintain compliance with ISO quality systems and documentation.
- With Rexel India's expanding MRO business in Chennai, we are managing an increased number of SKUs and serving critical clients such as Alstom Transport India, Faiveley Transport, and Alstom Australia. To ensure the highest quality standards and meet our customers expectations, we need an Incoming Quality Engineer to focus on:
- Managing Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints related to part quality through root cause analysis and corrective actions, ensuring continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Supplier Part Inspection: Conduct inspections of incoming supplier parts to verify conformity with our standards, reducing potential quality issues before dispatch to customers.
- Continuous Quality Improvement: Work closely with suppliers to improve part quality, based on customer feedback and inspection data.
- This role will help Rexel maintain quality consistency, meet increasing demand, and strengthen our reputation for reliability among key clients.
