Quality Engineer

Potential Engineering is a leading OEM of water pollution control & recovery systems. We have been in business for the past 40+ years. We are located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. We do design, engineering, manufacturing of pollution control equipments which are used in Oil & Gas Industry, Waste Water industry, Steel, Power, Dairy industry.

 Roles and responsibilities:

1.         Monitoring and analyzing quality performance.

2.         Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.

3.         Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.

4.         Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.

5.         Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.

6.         Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.

7.         Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes.

8.         Monitor all incoming, process & final inspection activities.

9.         Verification of Raw material and inspection of bought out components

10.      Training to quality as well as production people to improve the quality & reduce the rejection

11.      Follow the checklist for preparing the incoming Inspection report.

12.      On time Inspection Report preparation.

13.      Maintaining Rejection, Rework record

14.      5'S monitoring at the department

15.      Should be able to handle TPI independently.

Qualification & Skill set:

•   Degree in Mechanical engineering, Diploma but with adequate experience
•  2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality Assurance/Control, or a similar role.
•   Good Knowledge of Welding Process, DPT,UT and RT.
•   Should have knowledge of Codes. i.e ASTM SEC II Part A & B, Sec IX, Sec V, Sec VII.
•   ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001  knowledge would be an added advantage 
•   Familiar with 7 QC tool
•   Experience in Oil & Gas processes will be preferred.
•   Teamwork, Interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication.
•   Technical understanding, Design skills
•   Problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
