Job Description

Position Overview:

The Quality Engineer will support the Project Management Team by preparing, updating, and maintaining all quality-related procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and project quality documents. The role ensures that project requirements, client specifications, and relevant international standards are fully complied while preparing documents.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prepare, revise, and maintain quality procedures (like FAT, NDTs, Pressure Tests etc.), ITPs, Data sheets and related documents for all projects.
  • Review client specifications, standards, and project requirements to define quality activities and documentation needs.
  • Coordinate with various factory functions and document control teams to ensure proper implementation of procedures and ITPs.
  • Support project managers by providing all required quality inputs.
  • Communicate with clients for procedure approvals and clarifications on comments through comment resolution sheet.
  • Assist in resolving quality issues, NCRs, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain revision control of all quality documents and support compilation of MRB/EDR packages.
  • Contribute to improvement of existing quality processes and provide training/support to internal teams when needed.

Requirements / Desirables:

  • Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 1-5 years experience for Graduate and 4-8 years for Diploma holders in Valve Industry (Ball, Butterfly, Gate, Globe& Check Valves) as a Quality Control/Assurance Engineer.
  • Familiar with Valve Design & Testing Standards ( API , ASME, ISO etc), Material standards, Oil and Gas Industry End User Specification.
  • Professional and Positive Attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Possess a high-energy level, competitive nature.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Self-management: initiative, organized, process orientation.
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail, time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication. Fluent in English and local language
  • Familiarity with SAP and CRM.
