Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Engineer specializing in leather goods, based in Kolkata. The role involves overseeing and maintaining the quality standards of products, performing quality control inspections, ensuring compliance with quality assurance processes, managing quality management systems, and addressing product quality concerns. The Quality Engineer will work closely with various departments to ensure quality goals are met, identify issues, and implement continuous improvement measures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Engineering and Quality Management principles
- Strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
- Familiarity with ensuring and enhancing Product Quality
- Ability to develop, implement, and oversee Quality Management Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field
- Experience in the leathergoods or manufacturing industry is advantageous
