Ziegler Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer with expertise in AS9100 and AS9120 Quality Management Systems to support and strengthen its aerospace quality and compliance framework.
The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting quality assurance activities, managing internal and external audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to aerospace industry standards across engineering, procurement, and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and enforce quality management processes, procedures, and compliance across the organization.
- Coordinate activities related to AS9100 and AS9120 certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
- Manage and support internal audits, external audits, customer audits, and certification audits.
- Track audit findings, corrective actions, preventive actions, and closure activities to ensure timely resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, audit reports, compliance documents, and related documentation.
- Support organizational quality objectives, quality awareness initiatives, and employee training programs.
- Act as the primary quality focal point for internal departments, customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
