About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to join Uppteam as a Design and Construction Drawings Reviewer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the review and quality control of architectural and engineering drawings to ensure their accuracy, completeness, and coordination across disciplines. Your expertise will be vital in identifying discrepancies, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that all design documents adhere to project standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction documentation, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in reviewing construction drawings, quality control processes, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software, and other relevant design and review tools.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with design and construction teams.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly review architectural, structural, and MEPF drawings to verify design integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Identify and address discrepancies, omissions, or conflicts within the drawings, ensuring all elements are correctly coordinated.
- Utilize comprehensive QC checklists to confirm that all design components meet project standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective clash detection and resolution, employing overlay techniques or BIM tools.
- Maintain detailed records of review findings, corrections, and approvals to ensure traceability and accountability.
- Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to implement necessary revisions and improvements.
- Stay updated with industry standards, regulatory changes, and best practices related to design review and quality assurance.
