About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality standards of construction projects, particularly in large-scale residential developments exceeding G+10 floors. This role involves close coordination with site teams, managing inspection and testing procedures, and ensuring all activities comply with design drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The Quality Engineer will also be instrumental in maintaining documentation, preparing quality reports, and training onsite personnel on best practices related to quality and safety. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in construction, specifically in residential apartment projects
- Proven experience working on large-scale projects, preferably with G+10 floors or more
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, inspection, and testing procedures
- Excellent understanding of safety protocols and quality assurance processes
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in documentation and report preparation
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities efficiently
Responsibilities
- Ensure the work done as per design drawing and specification
- Monitor and inspect site activities regularly to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Ensure all in-house tests are conducted as per inspection plans and schedules
- Oversee plumbing and electrical work to meet project requirements and standards
- Site laboratory control and management
- Ensure all in-house tests are performed according to the inspection and test plan
- Develop and implement work and test procedures for various activities
- Inspect inward materials to ensure they meet specified standards
- Documentation as per standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all site activities
- Ensure safety documentation is up-to-date and properly maintained
- Keep detailed records of test reports, including in-house and third-party reports
- Quality Reports
- Prepare daily quality and safety tracking reports
- Compile and review weekly and monthly quality and safety management reports
- Training onsite persons on quality and safety practices
- Conduct training sessions for site personnel on quality standards and safety procedures
- Promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols among workers and staff
