We're seeking an experienced QA Lead with expertise in Manual, API, and Automation Testing, particularly in the Telecom domain. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of test analysts, developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. You will play a key role in driving the testing efforts, providing guidance on best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Testing Teams: Lead and manage a team of test analysts, providing guidance on best practices, and ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for Telecom domain applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards.
- Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium/Playwright, Java/Python, and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- API Testing: Develop and execute API testing using Postman/RestAssured, ensuring comprehensive coverage of APIs and identifying defects.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution, and provide regular progress updates.
- Risk Analysis and Prioritization: Perform risk analysis and prioritize testing efforts accordingly, ensuring that critical defects are identified and addressed promptly.
- Test Case Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test reports, ensuring that testing efforts are well-documented and reusable.
- Defect Identification and Resolution: Identify and report defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues, ensuring that defects are addressed promptly and efficiently.
- Manual Testing: Experience in designing Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, and defect management.
- Automation Testing: Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python.
- API Testing: Experience in API Testing using Postman/RestAssured.
- Test Management Tools: Experience in Test Case Management, Test Execution, and Defect Tracking using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.
- Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in leading and managing a team of test analysts, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software.
Nice to Have
- Telecom Domain & Leadership: Experience in Telecom domain applications, especially in Retail (Oneview), and leadership experience in managing a team.
- DevOps & Database: Experience with DevOps (CICD) and database reporting (ETL Testing).
- Automation Frameworks & Tools: Experience with building frameworks, Selenium Grid usage & setup, and Appium for native app testing.
- Advanced Automation Skills: Knowledge of Page Object Model, Page Factory, and Annotations in TestNg.
- AI-Based Testing & CICD: Experience with Generative AI or AI-Based Testing, and CICD pipelines.
