Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Performance Test Lead, you will lead and manage end-to-end performance testing and performance engineering activities across enterprise applications. You will collaborate with business, development, architecture, infrastructure, and QA teams to define performance strategies, ensure applications meet performance SLAs, and drive continuous improvements in system scalability and reliability. The role involves designing real-world workload models, developing performance test scripts, analyzing system bottlenecks, and providing recommendations to optimize application performance throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

Sound knowledge on performance testing tools LRE and JMeter.

Ability to design complex scenarios to depict real world user patterns.

Should be proficient with these protocols Web (HTTP / HTML), Web Services, Tru Client, Citrix, SAP-GUI, KAFKA, MQ

Good foundation with Performance engineering concepts including knowledge on monitoring tools Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic. Should be able to configure performance metrics for various monitors and build Dashboards.

Good understanding of JVM related concepts

Should be proficient in SQL queries.

Understanding of the application functionality and performance requirements along with SLA's defined.

Identify the test environment, test data and access needs.

Create profiling, test scripts, test plan, executing, trouble shooting and performance tuning.

Create monitoring profiles to acquire performance metrics to ensure optimization.

Analyze test results and call out any discrepancies against the SLAs.

Publish performance analysis reports and conduct review sessions with all the stakeholders.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Good to have experience in MAWM ( Manhattan Warehouse management) application
• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Ability to analyse performance test results and provide actionable insights.
• Familiarity with application architecture and design principles.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• Mandatory 3 days per week client office visit.
• Working Hours: Shift B 12PM to 9PM .
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
