Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Must have skills : Playwright, JavaScript, Selenium

Good to have skills : Investment Banking

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of full stack solutions. The role focuses on accelerating project timelines by embedding quality throughout the application lifecycle. This includes continuous testing activities such as security assessments, API validations, and regression testing. The Quality Engineer also develops and maintains automation strategies and scripts, while managing data and environment configurations. Active participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements in testing processes, contributing to the overall robustness and reliability of the software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to define and implement testing frameworks that enhance automation and efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members to build their skills and support their professional growth.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals and timelines.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright, JavaScript, Selenium.
• Good To Have Skills: Investment Banking.
• Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts for web applications.
• Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues in multi-layered software environments.
• Familiarity with API testing and security testing methodologies.
  
  

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
