Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that span multiple disciplines. The role focuses on integrating various components within the ecosystem to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards throughout the application lifecycle. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression testing. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, as well as managing data and environment configurations. Regular participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements in testing procedures and overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of quality software products.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams to facilitate prompt resolution of issues.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with complex testing scenarios.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
• Experience with designing and implementing automation strategies and scripts.
• Strong understanding of continuous testing methodologies including security, API, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with environment and data configuration management to support testing activities.
