Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that span the entire application lifecycle. This role focuses on integrating various components and systems to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes. The day includes continuous testing activities such as security assessments, API validations, and regression testing. Additionally, the role requires developing and maintaining automated testing scripts, configuring test environments, and actively participating in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to fostering ongoing improvements in the testing process and overall product quality.

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to define and implement testing frameworks that enhance automation and efficiency.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals and timelines.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
• Strong experience in designing and executing automated test scripts and frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with security testing methodologies and API testing tools.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Experience in configuring and managing test environments to support diverse testing needs.

• This position is based at our Pune office.
