Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. The role focuses on integrating various components across the application lifecycle to ensure seamless functionality and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities include continuous testing efforts covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites, alongside developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts. The position also involves active participation in code reviews, defect monitoring, and reporting to foster ongoing improvements in testing processes and overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to define and implement automation strategies that align with project goals and quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on testing objectives and deliverables.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages related to Selenium.
• Experience in designing and executing continuous testing strategies including security and regression testing.
• Familiarity with environment configuration and data management to support automated testing.
• Ability to analyze and report defects effectively to drive continuous improvement.
• Experience participating in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
