Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that enhance the overall quality of software applications. The role includes integrating various tools and processes to support continuous testing efforts, ensuring seamless delivery throughout the application lifecycle. Daily activities also encompass monitoring testing progress, identifying potential issues early, and contributing to the refinement of testing frameworks to maintain high standards of software reliability and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.
• Assist in the documentation and maintenance of testing procedures and best practices.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Test Management, Automated Testing, Functional Test Planning.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Experience in designing and executing functional, regression, and API testing to ensure software quality.
• Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
• Skilled in configuring test environments and managing test data to simulate real-world scenarios.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Test Management.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
