Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that integrate various components of the development ecosystem, ensuring seamless coordination across different stages of the application lifecycle. Your role includes executing continuous testing practices that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You also develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while managing data and environment configurations. Throughout the day, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing methodologies to uphold high-quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing activities with project goals.
• Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
• Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• Experience in designing and executing performance test scripts to simulate real-world user scenarios.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes to support automated testing.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks or defects.
• Familiarity with environment setup and configuration management to ensure consistent test conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues arising during test execution.
