Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that integrate various components of the application ecosystem, ensuring seamless coordination across different disciplines. Your role includes executing continuous testing cycles focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression, while also developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts. You actively participate in reviewing code, tracking and reporting issues, and contributing to ongoing improvements that elevate the overall quality and reliability of software products throughout their lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of testing activities within the development lifecycle.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
• Monitor testing outcomes and provide detailed feedback to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
• Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and security testing.
• Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes to ensure effective issue resolution.
• Capability to participate in code reviews and contribute to quality assurance best practices.
