Job Description

Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that span multiple disciplines. The role focuses on integrating various components within the ecosystem to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression testing. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to supporting ongoing improvements in the testing workflow, ensuring a seamless and efficient quality assurance process.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of quality processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support testing activities and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance testing methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report issues effectively.
  • Ability to analyze complex system interactions and design test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Understanding of security testing principles and API testing techniques within the Guidewire environment.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter QA.
  • This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
