Job Description

Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, focusing on accelerating project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality. Your role includes continuous testing efforts that cover various aspects such as security and application programming interfaces, alongside regression testing. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in reviewing code, tracking defects, and contributing to ongoing improvements throughout the entire testing lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and quality throughout the development process.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of testing frameworks to enhance automation and efficiency.
  • Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts to support continuous integration and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies including security, API, and regression testing.
  • Ability to configure and manage test environments and data to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Familiarity with code review processes and defect tracking tools to facilitate quality improvements.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
  • This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
