Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that span multiple disciplines. The role focuses on integrating various components within the ecosystem to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression testing. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to supporting ongoing improvements in the testing workflow, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of quality solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with complex testing scenarios.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong experience in designing and executing automated test scripts and frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of continuous testing methodologies including security, API, and regression testing.
- Ability to configure and manage test data and environments to support various testing needs.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools to facilitate effective communication and resolution.
- Experience participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met throughout the development process.
