Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless integration within the development ecosystem. Your role includes executing continuous testing cycles focused on various aspects such as security and application programming interfaces, while also maintaining and evolving automated testing frameworks. You actively participate in reviewing code, tracking issues, and providing insights that contribute to the ongoing refinement of testing methodologies, ultimately supporting the delivery of high-quality software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing strategies with project goals.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of test environments and data configurations.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
• Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency.
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Ability to analyze and report defects effectively to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Familiarity with API testing and security testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of environment setup and data configuration to support automated testing.
