Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. The role focuses on integrating various components and systems to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes. Daily activities include continuous testing across multiple domains such as security and application programming interfaces, developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement are integral parts of the work, contributing to the overall enhancement of testing processes and product reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing strategies with project goals.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases to cover functional requirements.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test strategies that cover functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to support continuous testing efforts.
• Ability to analyze and interpret test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies.
• Capability to participate effectively in code reviews and defect management processes.
