Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Good to have skills : Salesforce CG Cloud Retail Execution Functional

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that ensure the seamless integration of various components within the application ecosystem. The role focuses on accelerating delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes, monitoring system performance, and actively engaging in efforts to identify and resolve issues early. This position also involves supporting automation initiatives and contributing to the enhancement of testing frameworks to improve overall efficiency and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing objectives with project goals.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing coverage.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to optimize quality and efficiency.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Testing, Functional Test Planning, Salesforce CG Cloud Trade Promotion Management Functional.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Salesforce CG Cloud Retail Execution Functional.
• Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting languages relevant to Salesforce environments.
• Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
• Ability to analyze and report defects effectively, contributing to root cause analysis and resolution.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Salesforce Testing.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
