Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. You engage in continuous testing activities, including security assessments, API validations, and regression testing, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met. Your role includes developing automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively participating in code reviews. You also monitor testing outcomes and report any defects, contributing to ongoing improvements in the testing process and overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the development lifecycle.
• Assist in the documentation and maintenance of testing standards and best practices.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing methodologies.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

ETL Testing & Validation (source-to-target, completeness, transformation logic, incremental loads)

Data Quality & Reconciliation (PL/SQL-based recon, business rule validation)

Test Automation & Tooling

Defect Management & Reporting (Jira, sprint-aligned reporting, sign-off documentation)

Collaboration & Documentation (working with ETL developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders)

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• Strong knowledge of data validation techniques and ETL process workflows.
• Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts for data pipelines.
• Familiarity with database technologies and query languages to verify data integrity.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify root causes of defects in complex data environments.
• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices related to data testing.
