Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive solutions that span multiple disciplines. The role focuses on integrating various components within the ecosystem to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. Daily activities include executing continuous testing processes that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression testing. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to supporting ongoing improvements in the testing workflow, ensuring a seamless and efficient quality assurance process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
- Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Continuously evaluate testing processes and tools to identify opportunities for enhancement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and security testing.
- Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot defects, providing detailed reports to development teams.
- Knowledge of environment and data configuration management to support testing activities.
