Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of full stack solutions. You actively engage in planning sessions to align testing efforts with project goals, focusing on maintaining high standards throughout the application lifecycle. Your work includes executing continuous testing activities that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression scenarios. You develop and implement automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you participate in code reviews and track defects, contributing to ongoing improvements in the testing process to enhance overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in the design and implementation of test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes by integrating automated tests into build pipelines.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices related to quality assurance and testing methodologies.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Angular.
• Experience with writing and maintaining automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles including functional, regression, and security testing.
• Familiarity with continuous testing practices and tools that support integration and delivery pipelines.
• Ability to analyze and report defects clearly and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
• Knowledge of environment and data configuration to support various testing scenarios.
