Project Role : Quality Engineer

Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:

As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines and integrate various ecosystem components to ensure seamless application lifecycle management. Your role includes executing continuous testing practices focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression testing. You develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts while managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report defects, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the testing workflow to uphold high-quality standards throughout the development cycle.

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing activities with project goals and timelines.
• Assist in the development and refinement of testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
• Continuously monitor testing processes and suggest enhancements to optimize quality assurance efforts.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts for load and stress testing.
• Ability to analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of scripting languages to customize and extend testing capabilities.

• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
