Quality Engineer 4 in

This role offers an opportunity to lead quality assurance initiatives across multiple software platforms in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases, ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of modern web and API solutions. The position involves mentoring junior engineers, integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging AI-driven tools to optimize testing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality releases, mitigate risks, and enhance product performance. Accountabilities
- Designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases for new features and product enhancements.
- Architecting and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Mentoring junior Quality Engineers and promoting best practices across the team.
- Performing API testing for RESTful services and integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilizing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, CodeceptJS, and programming languages like Java or JavaScript.
- Applying SQL for backend validation and data testing.
- Conducting risk-based testing, debugging issues, and escalating critical failures.
- Ensuring all quality criteria are met before product releases.
Requirements
Candidates should have relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 912 years of software testing experience, with 6+ years in automation testing.
- Proficiency in exploratory, edge, and risk-based testing techniques.
- Strong automation skills and experience leveraging AI tools for test case generation and optimization.
- Hands-on experience in web and API testing, CI/CD integration, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience testing AI-driven products such as chatbots, agentic systems, or analytics dashboards.
- Familiarity with performance, load, and stress testing.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and leadership abilities.
- Experience in Agile development environments and SaaS products.
